# Task execution price

The default task execution price is 1 ETNY per one hour of processing power regardless. It is recommended to have this price for a node with average resources. If you'd like to change the price per task you can do so during installation. You will be prompted to change and set a new price:

When asked "Do you want to use the default value of 1 ETNY / hour? (Y/n)", you can choose one of the following options (we recommended the default option):

* If you want to use the default value of 1 ETNY / hour, simply type "Y" and press Enter.
* If you want to specify a different value, type "n" and press Enter. The installer script will prompt you to enter a value between 1 and 10 for the ETNY / hour.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.ethernity.cloud/ethernity-node/configuring-the-node/task-execution-price.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
